Bloodstone Drop For Dota 2 Beta Testers

With the official release of Dota 2, Valve has given Dota 2 beta testers who sent Dota 2 gifts to their friends a free Dota 2 item.

Tier 1 - Bloodstone of the Ancestor (Rare)


Tier 2 - Bloodstone of the Precursor (Mythical)


Tier 3 - Bloodstone of the Founder (Legendary)


Dota 2 Bloodstone Cosmetic Item Description:
"For those who came before and sang the word and gathering friends began their crusade, the light of gratitude swirls within the stone." 
 
The item tracks the number of Dota 2 gifts you sent to your Steam friends.

What type of Bloodstone did you get?

    I got bloodstone of the founder; does this do anything in game/get equipped anywhere? also I got two of them...

      I got the tier 1 and I didn't send invites to any friends. I bought myself into the beta test tho, and played a ton of hours of it, if that makes any difference.

      So that might mean the "rare" is more "rare" than the mythical.
      I like the look better honestly, which is really all that matters for a paperweight.

    It says NOT TRADABLE OR USABLE IN CRAFTING does dota 2 has a crafting capabilities ??

      It used to be...you know back during the greevil and diretide... there were greevl eggs...that can be crafted to different type of greevils...using essences

    on the beta since i think september 2011. 47 gift got founder legendary. Very cute, but i find it usseless. Also add date when you enter the beta to this item.

      Because they already are giving you the whole game for free? The beta test is an optional thing that they let you be a part of to help design the game. It's actually pretty annoying that you're whining about not getting an item when things are so easy to earn and trade for in dota that you could essentially never use their cash shop.

    Had 20+ invites.. invited 2 players who play everyday.. apart from that invited over 10 who are not so active dota 2 players.. received lowest grade bloodstone. Valve. Not suprised.

      No, you traded 20+ invites and in reality Valve let you be a part of an optional beta test. The item shows how many people you gifted the beta invite, not bargained with it.

    Stop complaining abt invites guys, The bloodstone rarity depends on in which year you started playing the game. I started early 2012, which is why i have Precursor (Mythical)
