DotA 6.69, in the tradition of DotA 6.x9 versions has a secret mission.
Remember the old DotA secret boss (6.59)?
This time, Icefrog's easter egg is Icarus, the Phoenix.
Neutral Creeps will now give you the guide on how to do the secret quest for 6.69.

To continue on, here are the steps on how to find the runes in DotA 6.69.
Locations of the DotA 6.69 secret runes:
Secret Rune 1So all in all, there are 8 DotA secret runes for the 6.69 secret mission.
There's an invisible killable icefrog near top rune.
Secret Rune 2
There's one near the prerune too + another sent bot pullable camp
Secret Rune 3
Another one at the spawn point of sentinel, bottom lane. next to the sea/waterfall
Secret Rune 4
Another one on sentinel's base, next Hunter's Hall, among the trees.
Secret Rune 5
Number 5 on the sentinels mid lane mid leveled creeps point. Behind the statue.
Secret Rune 6
Its behind the creeps near the fifth one.
Secret Rune 7
Number 7 scrourge bottom lane. At the spawn point of creeps a bit to the left.
Secret Rune 8
Number 8 where the scrourge lower lever creeps are.
And you need to catch 'em all!

ReplyDeletehahaha it's barely immposible to kill icarus....maybe only ursa can kill it.....the item you will get from icarus after killing it is awesome!!! Once you get the anchient medalion mean's the other team lose.

ReplyDeleteOmfg its impossible to do the secret quest in game and if you manage to do it the other team can steal your item or can kill your base becouse the frogs are easy to find but till you find them it will take you 5-6 min of not playing this will give them too much advantage so its really impossible to do it

ReplyDeleteKilled the prerune and runes using Faceless Void's kinda blink, and killed the frogs with Dagon (note: Orb effects like Traxex' Frozen Arrow are considered spells if used manually). Beaten by the phoenix afterward. This guy gets TOO MUCH LEVEL when he kills you (he was like lvl 16 after killing my lvl 25 -noherolimit team)! And teaming up with the enemy will end up in a bloody battle to death after, and one side will be totally owned. Quite an interesting and challenging quest!! I'll try to figure out something else.

atropos skill 1 if can used or skill 4 for delay icarus attacking.

ReplyDelete1. u must kill prerune, it looks like a headless body behind trees, near creeps above top rune area.
2. after killing this prerune, u must kill 2 runes wich are located above 2nd scourge top tower and below sent 3rd tower.
3. then the icefrogs will be around the map. They are invisible.
ancient medallion means u can easily break fountain 4 sure...
